Roleplay Rules [2]
Last Updated - 28/8
» Keep it fair in roleplays
Power-playing, god-modding, and meta-playing is generally frowned upon by the staff, and with good reason.
Power-playing is when you take control of another person's character without their consent. An example would be: Athena punched Ayato with enough force to send him flying towards the nearby wall, against which he knocked his skull hard enough for it to fracture. He got an instant concussion. In here, Athena is controlling how Ayato is injured, and does not give him a chance to respond. A better way to phrase this would be: Athena attempts to punch Ayato. If she does so successfully, he would be sent flying backwards towards the nearby wall, the impact of which could possibly crack his skull and even give him a concussion. Of course, if both parties agree to power playing to move the story, then it's fine.
God-modding is making your character well-nigh invincible by magically making all their weaknesses nonexistent, having the ability to dodge every single attack, or getting any other form of power-ups without logical reason behind it. This is incredibly unfair to the other party. Contact a staff if this happens to you.
Meta-playing is when your character is aware of something without a logical reason behind that knowledge, such as the secret plan of an invasion or all the weaknesses of someone he or she has just met.
» Only bump once every 48 hours
Everyone has their own lives. A gentle reminder every now and then in the form of a bump is fine, but we don't want people doing that too often, as it can get irritating to the other party. So please make sure a full 48 hours pass before you post another bump on the topic, or your post will be deleted by staff.
» Follow the roleplay order
A roleplay order is the order in which people post. If person A posts first on a topic, then B, then C, then make sure this order is followed for the whole topic, i.e person C shouldn't be posting before person B unless person B has given permission to skip them for whatever reason.
